Kollywood star Vijay Sethupathi is one of best actors we have seen in recent times. With his performances in films like Vikram Vedha, Super Deluxe and others, the actor has proved his versatility and acting skills. While fans were excited for Tollywood debut as he was playing lead antagonist in Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa, it seems we have to wait a little more, as the actor has opted out of the project due to date issues. The actor confirmed the news to Cinema Vikatan and said he personally conveyed this message to Sukumar.
Talking about Pushpa, the first look of the film was released on Allu Arjun‘s 37th birthday, where saw the actor in a raw and rustic avatar. The film was officially launched last October in Hyderabad. It is set in the backdrop of red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam forests. Allu Arjun will romance Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade actress Rashmika Mandanna in the film. It is directed by Sukumar, who previously collaborated with the star on Arya and Arya 2. DSP (Devi Sri Prasad) will compose the music of the film.
Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi will be next seen in Thalapathy Vijay starrer Master. The film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and bankrolled under the banners of XB Film Creators and Seven Screen Productions, also stars Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das and Shantanu Bhagyaraj in pivotal roles. In the recently held audio launch, the actor praised his costar, Vijay Sethupathi, and said, “Vijay Sethupathi has now become a person who cannot be avoided. We have seen many negative characters, but his role in Master will be special. I asked him why he agreed to do the film and he shut me down by saying four words — I really like you.” So, are you excited for Master? Tweet and let us know @bollywood_life.
