A lot has been happening in the recent past. Ever since Kangana Ranaut gave an explosive interview to Arnab Goswami on nepotism wherein she went on to call Swara Bhasker and Taapsee Pannu ‘B-grade’ actresses there has been a lot of exchange on social media. Both Taapsee and Swara took their stand against the actress’s claims. A Twitter user had went on to say that Kangana had yelled and publicly abused at Swara on the sets of Tanu Weds Manu Returns when the latter had given a good shot. Swara had ascertained it in her tweet and said, “#SupportMax by reigning national award winning outsider-star to “needy- outsider” ! Circa 2014. Sigh! Such #happymemories @teamkangana.”

Actress Navni Parihar who played Kangana Ranaut‘s mother in the film reacted to Swara Bhasker’s claim. The actress denied the incident saying, “Nothing like this happened in my presence.” In an interview, Navni went on say that had anything like that happened she would have known it. “Usually, when such an incident happens, there are make-up artists, spot boys, crew who are quick to talk about it and the word spreads around the sets. I don’t recollect anyone mentioning such an incident to me,” Navni told Beyond Bollywood in an interview.
Navni also opened up on Kangana’s behavior on the sets. “She was very nice. I never saw her misbehave with anyone. Forget misbehaving, I never even saw her speak to anyone in a rude tone. Never any tantrums. She is a quiet worker, very focused and hard working.”
Kangana Ranaut has been single-handedly fighting against nepotism ever since Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on 14th June 2020. The actress has been going all-out and calling everyone and everything right from lobbying to group-ism and mafias in the industry.
