Sushmita Sen pens a heart-warming note on the late actor, says, ‘I wish I knew him’

The tragic demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has been the most devastating one for Bollywood fans in a long time. The actor, 34, was found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14. People cannot fathom what could have made the actor take this drastic step. It seems he was suffering from depression since six months and undergoing treatment for the same. Yesterday, the trailer of Sushant Singh Rajput’s film, Dil Bechara came out. A number of celebrities have showered love on the trailer, which is his last film. Sushmita Sen, who was seen recently in the web-series, Arya has penned down some wonderful words for the late actor. Sushmita Sen wrote, “I didn’t know Sushant Singh Rajput personally…only through his films and some interviews!! He had tremendous emotional intelligence both on and off screen!! I feel like I know him better now, all thanks to his fans…Countless lives that he touched, with endearing simplicity, grace, love, kindness and that life affirming smile!!!” She further wrote that like him, she too is interested in space sciences and it would have been great to have a conversation with him on that topic. It is indeed very tragic that many people are discovering Sushant Singh Rajput after his demise. The late actor was deeply interested in astrophysics and was a philanthropist. He had sent kids to NASA for a space camp. Sushant Singh Rajput was a complete geek as described by his Sonchiriya director, Abhishek Chaubey. In the film, Dil Bechara, he plays the role of Immanuel Rajkumar Junior who is on remission. He falls in love with Kizzie Basu played by Sanjana Sanghi. It is a remake of The Fault In Our Stars.
