When Manoj Muntashir’s marriage was called off
Manoj Muntashir revealed that his marriage was called off because he was a lyricist. He was set to get married in May, 1997. However, in April, the bride’s brother came to meet him, and asked him about his future plans. When he shared that he wanted to be a songwriter throughout his life, the girl’s brother called off the wedding. He said that he had the choice to choose writing on the girl, and he chose the former.
Swanand wanted to be a film director
Swanand revealed that while he sings, writes and acts, he wanted to be a director and that’s why entered the industry.
Amitabh Bhattacharya penned Ae Dil Hai Mushkil title track on a car ride in one hour
Amitabh Bhattacharya spoke about working with Pritam and how he used to send things at the last moment. He shared an incident when they had to meet Karan Johar for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Amitabh kept asking Pritam to send the tune but he gave it just a few hours before meeting Karan. He sat on the backseat of the car and wrote it really quickly as he didn’t have much time. Luckily for him, it was approved.
Swanand Kirkire used to pen songs in the toilet
Kapil Sharma asked Swanand Kirkire to clarify on a rumour that’s doing the rounds. According to it, Swanand writes songs while sitting on toilet pots. Swanand agreed and said that people get great ideas in the toilet.
