The demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has left the nation shocked and saddened. While there are reports that he was suffering from clinical depression for six years, people feel his death needs a special enquiry from the Central Bureau Of Investigation. Kanika Mann who is a part of the show, Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega EXCLUSIVELY told BollywoodLife, “Honestly, his death has left me very saddened. Whenever I think of it, I feel anguished. I was a huge fan throughout my life. When I came to Mumbai, he was the first star I messaged. You hesitate from messaging random people, let alone stars. But I messaged him saying that he was an inspiration for people like me. Of course, I did not get a reply. He was a fab actor and had achieved so much at such a young age. He had everything. His passing away makes you reflect what is it that a human being strives for on this planet. It reminds us that materialistic things and fame are irrelevant.”
Kanika Mann, who is also a law student spoke about the demand for CBI Enquiry. “See, there are some things that do not add up. I feel it is okay if people are demanding a CBI investigation. There is no harm in it. I mean it won’t hurt anyone. His fans will get closure,” she says. Sushant was found hanging in his Bandra residence on June 14.
The actress spoke about resuming work. She said, “I spent three months in Panipat, Haryana my hometown. But we cannot continue like this. Our production people are taking all the precautions. The makeup people have the PPE on. There are sanitizers everywhere. I walk into the sets nervously and return with the hope that I stay safe from the virus. More than me, it is my folks who are very nervous.” Kanika Mann has also moved into a new home of late. Zee TV has come up with a #13thKiTayaari campaign on social media. It has some of the industry’s biggest stars and bigwigs. It was for announcement of fresh episodes from July 13, 2020.
