Krissh is the most loved home-grown superhero film of India. The last movie came out in 2013. Now, Hrithik Roshan and his dad, Rakesh Roshan are ready to start work on the fourth film of the franchise. Last year, Roshan senior was battling throat cancer but it seems he has developed a good script in this lockdown. As per a report in Mid-Day, in the fourth film, India’s own superhero will travel back in time to bring back his scientist father, Rohit Mehra and the beloved Jadoo. This is like a double treat for all fans.
It seems Rakesh Roshan was exploring many concepts in the past few months but the one of intergalactic travel appealed immensely to him. A trade source told Mid-Day, “As soon as they finalised the idea, Rakeshji began the pre-production work with Rajesh Roshan taking over the music department.” The source added that Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies will be handling the visual effects. Though a box-office debacle, Zero was hailed for its special effects. The source added, “Given the movie’s ambitious theme, the director has entrusted Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies with the visual effects. He intends to introduce an army of super villains who will battle the hero and has hired a Hollywood designer to give a distinct look to each baddie.”
In the movie, we will see Hrithik Roshan in two avatars, one as Krrish and the other as Rohit Mehra. The story will focus on how Krrish goes back in time to revive his dead father. The filmmaker has smartly tried to bring back Jadoo in the thick of things as well. The source informed the tabloid, “Rohit is integral to the story as he is the only person who can contact Jadoo. Rakeshji has designed the script cleverly to incorporate the much loved alien from Koi Mil Gaya . While the cast is yet to be determined, Priyanka Chopra is not expected to reprise her role.” The movie is expected to go on floors in January 2021. The filmmaker told the tabloid that they’re still working on the script.
