Bollywood News – Anurag Kashyap gives stern response to Ranvir Shorey calling him a ‘mainstream Bollywood flunky’ — read tweets

Among all the negative news going about in Bollywood news circles, another storm has erupted in the industry between Anurag Kashyap and Ranvir Shorey. The latter has given a sly jibe to the filmmaker on Twitter calling him a ‘mainstream Bollywood flunky’ among other things, calling out the ‘hypocrisy’ of how ‘many independent film crusaders’ have stopped ranting against the ‘system’ once they gained ‘entry into the pearly gates of Bollywood’, and in response, Kashypa, being Kashyap, directly asked the actor to ‘say exactly’ what he means and ‘whose flunky is who’. Taking to his official Twitter handle, Ranvir Shorey wrote: “So many independent-film-crusaders have turned mainstream-bollywood-flunkies now. In his stinging response, Anurag Kashyap directly addressed Ranvir, writing: “Do you really mean that@RanvirShorey. If you do please explain . Needless to say, this opened a can of worms on Twitter, with one user going as far as calling the Gangs of Wasseypur Director the ‘best example and puppet of Bollywood gang mafia.’ Never one to take things lying down, Kashyap resounded to him, too, in a couple of tweets.
