Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek are now admitted to Juhu’s Nanavati Hospital. Both of them tested positive for COVID-19. They have been admitted for a couple of days. Dr Ansari who is looking after them confirmed that Amitabh Bachchan is doing fine. It seems he slept well and his appetite was also fine as he ate his breakfast properly. Amitabh Bachchan, 77 is being kept in the isolation ward of the hospital. In the mean time, son Abhishek is in the general ward. A hospital insider told PTI, “Both are stable and are responding well to the treatment. They will have to be in the hospital for at least seven days.” As Big B is in the high-risk age group, the hospital is being extra cautious about him.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, 46, and his grand-daughter Aaradhya have also tested positive. Abhishek Bachchan confirmed that they will be self-quarantining at home. Many have hailed them for removing the stigma around the coronavirus pandemic. Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, “It shall not be possible for me to acknowledge and respond to all the prayers and wishes expressed by them that have shown concern towards Abhishek, Aishwarya, Aaradhya and me…I put my hands together and say…Thank you for your eternal love and affection.”

Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalows, Jalsa and Prateeksha were sanitized by the BMC workers. It has now become a containment zone. It seems he got in from a staff member but it is very unclear. Abhishek Bachchan’s Breathe co-star Amit Sadh also got tested. It seems his reports are negative.
